"I was always a mad comet..." Wilfred Owen

Publishers Weekly reviewer.

SPOILER ALERT!

We Were Liars- E. Lockhart

We Were Liars - E. Lockhart

I cried, both when I skimmed for plot and when I read it properly. The ending is devastating, and I love a good friendship story.

I expected some sort of betrayal and instead there's true friendship but also total devastation and loss.

I think the characters of the Liars could have been fleshed out a little more. But Lockhart does a lot in a fairly short book.

I think this is a paranormal and that they really are ghosts rather than it just being a hallucination/coping mechanism of Caddy's. What do you think?
